This page documents the material connections, regulatory commitments, and editorial limits that govern everything published on mortgagereversal.co. It is written to satisfy the Federal Trade Commission's clear-and-conspicuous standard (16 CFR §255.5, Endorsement Guides) and the FTC's 2024 Reviews and Endorsements Rule (16 CFR Part 465, effective October 21, 2024), and to make plain to a reader what this site is and what it is not.

Affiliate relationships
mortgagereversal.co earns money when readers click certain outbound links to lenders, lender marketplaces, or pay-per-call services and then apply or speak with a licensed representative. These are affiliate relationships. Specifically, this site participates in:
- LendingTree. A lender marketplace. We earn a commission when a reader who clicks through completes a lender match or submits an inquiry on LendingTree's site.
- FlexOffers. An affiliate network that brokers reverse-mortgage and related financial-services offers. We earn a commission when a reader clicks through a FlexOffers-routed link and the network attributes a qualifying action.
- Pay-per-call partners. A network-routed phone connection between the reader and a licensed lender representative. We earn a commission when the call meets the network's qualifying-duration threshold.
Every page on this site that contains an affiliate link displays a persistent, unavoidable disclosure banner at the top of the page (the <Disclaimer /> component). Every affiliate link that sits below the fold also carries an inline per-link disclosure (the <AffiliateLinkDisclosure /> component) within visual proximity of the link, in the same font size as the surrounding body text. The disclosure affirmatively states the material connection in plain language ("We earn a commission if you apply with this lender; this does not affect the price you pay or the terms you receive") rather than using a single ambiguous label like "affiliate link," "sponsored," or "#ad," which the 2024 FTC rule treats as insufficient on their own.
Editorial independence
The commercial relationships above do not buy placement, ranking, or favorable coverage.
There are no sponsored rankings. This site does not publish "best lenders" lists, "top reverse mortgage companies" lists, or any ordered ranking of the lenders we link to. The /programs section lists every program in alphabetical order, with parameters drawn from each lender's published parameter sheet, and is not a review.
There is no paid placement in editorial copy. No lender or affiliate partner has approval rights over what is written on this site, and no lender has reviewed this page or any other before publication. The decision about which programs to document, which sources to cite, and which framings to use sits entirely with the editorial side.
The /programs/<lender> pages are parameter cards, not endorsements. Each one reproduces the lender's published parameters with a citation to the source document. It does not call any program "best for" anyone, does not declare any program "ideal," and does not use ranking or superlative language. These restrictions exist to comply with the FTC's 2024 rule on consumer reviews and endorsements (16 CFR Part 465) and to preserve the editorial posture of the publication.
This site also does not publish AI-generated or fabricated reviews, or consumer reviews of any kind. Where reader-facing claims appear, they are sourced to a citable document and that document is named in the <Sources> block on the page or at /sources.
What is this site not?
mortgagereversal.co is a publication and a calculator, and the boundary of what it is not is just as important as what it is. It is not a lender: this site does not originate loans, broker loans, or take loan applications, and no information entered into the on-page calculator is transmitted to any lender or to this site's servers. It is not licensed; no author, owner, or operator holds a mortgage loan originator license under the SAFE Act, an NMLS individual license, a state Department of Insurance license, or a HUD counselor certification, and any decision about a reverse mortgage is a decision that should involve a HUD-approved counselor and a licensed lender. It is not financial, legal, or tax advice — nothing on this site is advice, and the numbers displayed by the calculator and figures cited in editorial pages are estimates for educational purposes only, derived from the methodology disclosed at /methodology and surfaced on every page that shows a dollar figure by the <EstimateOnly /> component. And it is not a lead-generation site: no page contains a contact form, an email-capture field, or any input that would transmit reader information to a third party, and the calculator runs client-side and discards inputs at the end of the session.

Factual errors should be reported to the contact address listed at /about. Corrections are made in place, the page's last_updated field is revised, and a brief note is added to the page footer when the correction changes a load-bearing number.
